Wow, that took quite a long time to get a new sub, but we are back, and the sub is for three months I think.

To TheVectorMonkeys! Genflag here, I'm not really good at doing this whole writing and introducing and what not, but I'll try anyway.


Here at TheVectorMonkeys we plan on making this the ideal club for all vector artists, not just the veterans. We plan on having tutorials provided by members or other people that don't mind the spread of useful material that aids in there popularity. If you have a piece that you'd like displayed in the club, send us a note with the link and we'll put it up as soon as possible. Comments will be turned off, so that if people want to say something about the piece, they say it to you, not us.

We plan to have regularly schedualed contests, though there probably won't be a prize (unless =verucasalt82 is feeling rich that week), except the knowlage that you won. The contest winner will get to have their winning piece displayed as the Featured Deviation.

I think thats about it. if there is anything I left out, Verucasalt82 or I will add it later.

I really hoped that I wouldn't have to address this, but please, please, please, don't talk crap about other people’s entries in contests or submissions to the group. If you don't know what would be considered talking crap, just think about how you would feel if you were starting off, or didn't have much experience and someone said whatever it is that you feel like saying about a piece to you. We don't want you making the club look bad, and also, there are people here that are just starting, and this is a place to help them, not bring them down. If you get three strikes against you for talking crap, you will be removed from the group, and all of your pieces will be taken down, this doesn't mean that you can talk crap two times, as long as you don't do it three times, this means just don't do it. We don't care how good your work is, or how many new people that you could bring to the club; you will be removed, and not allowed back in. If you feel like you should comment on someone’s stuff (and once again, I don't mean talking crap) do it on the main page for the piece, or in a note, and please, only constructive criticism.

How to Join
Send us a note with the subject "Join," or something similar. It's a little hard to keep track of otherwise. Also, please add the club to your watch list so you'll know when we're having contests and such. Membership is open to every vector artist.

Update
Come on guys, we need you to send us notes with pieces you'd like put up on the here!
Edit: No more than three submissions per person, at least not now. If you'd like to add something else, please include the name of the artwork you're replacing.
Edit: Don't worry, we're not dead, just resting. We've both been busy with different things, and if we ever get to the point that we can't work on it, then we will pass it on to one or two of you guys. We don't want to see this club die like all the others, and so we'll work hard to not let it die.

Third Contest!

The winner of the third contest is with his piece . The second place winner is with the piece . Once again, The winning piece will be the Featured Deviation, and both the first and second place winning pieces will be uploaded to the gallery and not count against the artists' limit of only three pieces in the gallery.
